Plano Sports Sessions: What I Photograph

Every session is built around the athlete. Some of my favorites in the Plano area include:

• Senior athlete portraits — the sports version of senior pictures, perfect for the Plano ISD senior who wants their sport to be part of their graduation story.
• Individual action and hero shots — dramatic, magazine-style portraits with your athlete in full gear, lit to make them look every bit the competitor they are.
• Signing and commitment photos — for athletes moving on to play at the next level.
• Multi-sport and club athletes — from select soccer and baseball to volleyball, cheer, track, and everything in between.

We can shoot on location around Plano at a field or court that means something to your athlete when it is available to us, or I can bring a clean, dramatic studio-style setup to you. Not sure what will look best? That is exactly what our pre-session chat is for. I photograph athletes all over the area, so if your ideal spot is a town over in Frisco or McKinney, that is never a problem.

What’s Included?

So how does this work? A sports session with me is meant to be easy and, honestly, a lot of fun. We agree on a time and a Plano-area location, your athlete brings their uniform, gear, and anything that tells their story (letter jacket, ball, bat, stick, medals), and I handle the rest.

Afterward, I edit the images and deliver the best shots to you digitally. Once delivered, the digital files are yours to use as you please. Professionally prepared prints and print products can be ordered directly from our website.

A few timing tips for Plano families. The best window for senior athlete portraits is the summer before senior year or early fall, before the season gets busy and before signing deadlines. If your athlete is committing to play in college, we will plan signing photos around National Signing Day in early February. Common Questions

Do you photograph Plano ISD games?

My sessions are personal athlete portraits, not sideline game coverage. Plano ISD schools have their own contracted photographers for team pictures and game days. What I create is a dedicated, one-on-one session built entirely around your athlete, the kind of standout portrait that team-picture day cannot give you. Many families do both.

How long is a session and what should my athlete bring?

Most sessions run about an hour, which is plenty of time for a few looks. Bring the full uniform, any alternate jerseys, and the gear that tells your athlete’s story, balls, bats, sticks, medals, or a letter jacket. If your athlete plays more than one sport, bring both, we can absolutely mix them.

Can we do senior pictures and sports portraits together?
