What a beautiful morning it was when I headed over to Adriatica to meet Talon for his senior photo session. I was excited to to have this opportunity to meet another Allen Eagle football player. Talon was not super excited about getting his picture taken, but I promised him we would work quickly and that it would be fun!

I’m not sure it was as much fun for him as it was for me, but my time with Talon and his family was wonderful. We talked about high school, football, cameras, and many other things as Talon and I (along with his mom and sister) roamed around Adriatica looking for the best spots for his pictures. I love the opportunity to chat with these seniors and listen to their plans for after high school, and how things are going for them, and in Talon’s case, I got the scoop on what it’s like to be a defensive player on the Allen Eagle football team.

What a job! You’d never know two nights before our photo session he was lined up in full pads taking hits and tackling players from just one more team the Eagles destroyed. My neck and back ached just listening to him tell me about the game. Another win for the Eagles, and a win for me – Talon had a perfect photo session.

It’s always fun for me to see what brings the biggest smile to these young adults’ faces. In Talon’s case, it was when he took a picture with his younger sister, and of course when we went to Allen Eagle Stadium for a few final pictures. Those smiles were coming right through his eyes.

This was another great opportunity for me to see what wonderful kids are coming out of Allen High school. It makes me excited for my kids who will be there before I know it. I’ve had such a positive experience doing photoshoots with Allen High School Football Players lately.  What a fine bunch of young men.  The Allen Eagle coaches (and Allen parents) must be doing something right. I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to adjust the title of my blog post My Three Favorite Allen Eagles to a much higher number.

I’m thankful, Talon, that your family trusted me to take your senior photos! I loved meeting you and spending time with you, your mom and your sister. Working with you was such a joy. You did great! I hope you like the photos. Best of luck to you, Talon. Enjoy your senior year, and Go Eagles!

I love taking senior photos.  If you or someone you know needs help capturing images of their senior before sending them off to college, feel free to reach out to me at any time. I’d love to help!

Until next time…
