McKinney might have the best senior photo backdrops in all of north DFW. Historic Downtown McKinney gives us brick streets, painted murals, and storefront character that big-city seniors drive an hour for. Adriatica Village looks like a slice of a Croatian seaside town dropped into Texas, with stone towers, a chapel, and waterside walkways that feel straight out of Europe. I’ve been shooting there for years and it never gets old. For natural settings, Erwin Park and Towne Lake deliver classic Texas prairie, trees, and water.

What’s Included?

So, how will this work? Senior photos may sound stressful, so I try to make them easy (and fun). Simply put, I will meet you at a time and McKinney location we agree on and start taking pictures. Bring a couple of outfit changes and anything that tells your story.

Afterwards, I’ll edit the pictures and deliver the best shots to you digitally. Once delivered, the digital picture files are yours to use as you please. Professionally prepared prints and print products can be ordered directly from our website.

I also photograph seniors in Allen, Frisco, and Plano, so a multi-stop session across towns is absolutely doable.

Common Questions

Is Adriatica Village good for senior photos?

It’s one of my favorite senior locations in all of DFW. The stone tower, chapel, and waterside walkways give you a European look without a passport. Morning sessions there are quieter and the light on the stonework is gorgeous.

How many outfits should my senior bring?

Two or three works well for a standard session. I usually suggest one dressy look, one everyday look that feels like them, and one wildcard: game jersey, band uniform, boots and hat, whatever tells their story.

Is this the same as the school yearbook photo?

No. McKinney ISD’s yearbook and graduation photos run through the district’s contracted photographer with their own deadlines. My sessions are your personal senior portraits, and most families do both.
