Senior Pictures in Frisco, Texas

They Only Grow Up Once

Why Take Senior Photos in Frisco?

It all happens so fast. One minute you are painting the nursery and the next you are ordering a cap and gown. If your senior goes to Frisco ISD, you already know how quickly these last few semesters fly by. Between Friday nights cheering in the student section and planning for graduation at the Ford Center at The Star, senior year in Frisco is packed. A professional photo session is the perfect way to freeze this special moment in time before it’s gone.

I photograph seniors all over the north DFW area, and Frisco is one of my favorite places to shoot. Whether your student is a Frisco High Fighting Raccoon, a Wakeland Wolverine, or attends any of the district’s other campuses, we will plan a session that feels like them, not a generic yearbook pose. And of course, senior photos make great holiday and graduation gifts for grandparents.

One thing Frisco families often ask: your school’s official yearbook photo is a separate program through the district’s contracted photographer. My senior sessions are your personal portraits, shot at locations you choose, with outfits and props that tell your student’s story. They complement the school photo, they don’t replace it.

Favorite Senior Photo Locations in Frisco

Frisco has no shortage of amazing backdrops. Frisco Commons Park gives us classic Texas greenery, mature trees, and a stone bridge that photographs beautifully at golden hour. Frisco Square offers a clean, modern downtown look with brick streets and city hall architecture, and it’s magical during the holiday season when the lights go up. For athletes and anyone who wants a big, bold urban feel, The Star district delivers that unmistakable Frisco energy. The historic Rail District adds rustic texture with its old-town storefronts and rail character.

Not sure which location fits your senior’s personality? That’s exactly what our pre-session conversation is for. I’ll suggest spots based on the look you want, the time of day, and what’s blooming or changing color that month. If you’d like ideas from past shoots, take a look at my guide to preparing for your senior photo session and my post on what to wear for senior pictures in Texas weather.

What’s Included?

So, how will this work? Senior photos may sound stressful, so I try to make them easy (and fun). Simply put, I will meet you at a time and Frisco location we agree on and start taking pictures. Bring a couple of outfit changes, anything that shows off your interests (letter jackets, instruments, team gear), and I’ll handle the rest.

Afterwards, I’ll edit the pictures and deliver the best shots to you digitally. Once delivered, the digital picture files are yours to use as you please. Professionally prepared prints and print products can be ordered directly from our website.

Please note that heavy digital retouching like teeth whitening, blemish removal, and other special effects are not included in the basic session price. Check the Session Pricing Page for details about current pricing and what is included in my Standard and Deluxe session packages.

I also photograph seniors in Allen, McKinney, and Plano, so if your ideal location is a town over, that’s never a problem.

Please note that availability is limited near graduation. Frisco ISD ceremonies are held in late May at the Ford Center at The Star and Comerica Center, and my spring calendar fills up months ahead. Common Questions

How long does a Frisco senior session take?

Most senior sessions run about an hour, which gives us time for two or three outfits and a couple of nearby location changes, for example Frisco Commons and the Rail District in one evening. If you want to combine a nature spot with an urban look across town, ask about extended sessions.

When should Frisco seniors book their session?

The sweet spot is the summer before senior year or early fall, when the light is great and deadlines are far away. Spring sessions before Frisco ISD’s late-May graduation are the first to sell out, so if you want bluebonnet season, reach out months ahead.

Can we shoot at The Star?

We can absolutely use the public streetscapes and plazas around The Star district, which photograph beautifully. Some interior and event areas have their own rules, so we plan around what’s accessible on our date during the consult.

Getting Great Photos Doesn’t Have To Be Hard

I believe that getting amazing pictures of the people that you love should be easy. I love taking pictures, and I’d be honored to take yours.

Let’s make some amazing memories.

We recently had Paula take our family pictures. This was a first-time family photoshoot and I was a little nervous as to how it would go. The experience was wonderful. We gave her details of what we wanted and she picked the perfect location. She is very detail-oriented and has a keen eye for great background and poses for each picture. The pictures are perfect. I will definitely be a return customer. Thanks, Paula.
