If you follow any photographers on social media, you know that one of the popular things to be a part of these days is a “Model Team”. Don’t know what that is just yet? Well, as soon as your kids are in Highschool, you will! A Model Team is a group of Highschool seniors (sometimes juniors) who sign up to work with a photographer throughout their senior year in Highschool. Typically, if you are on a model team, this means that you will have the opportunity to be a part of several photo shoots throughout the school year with the other students who have been chosen to be on the team with you.

Sometimes these are themed shoots – like pumpkin patches for Halloween or Christmas tree farms in the winter. And sometimes, it’s just a quick mini session with your model team in a wildflower field or something like that.

As of now, this is not something I offer, but what I do offer that I want to tell you about is what I call a friendship photo shoot. What is this exactly? Well…it’s just exactly what it sounds like. It’s a group of friends who get together for a photo shoot with me in a cool location to take some fun pictures with their besties!

Book a Deluxe or Standard Session with me, gather up a few of your best friends, and let’s meet at a cool location (or a meaningful one) and take some group shots! Sounds like fun, right? It’s a great way to document a certain time period in your life, and you don’t have to wait until your senior year. Why not schedule something like this for a 16th birthday? Or just because it’s summer? Or Fall?

Can you do this instead of scheduling a session for senior pictures? Of course you can! There is plenty of time in these sessions, especially if you schedule a Deluxe Session, to take group and individual pictures. The Deluxe Session comes with a gallery of 50 pictures, so that’s about perfect for a few friends. And photo shoots are almost always more fun if you do it with friends, right?

As always, you can find me over at Paula Mason Photography. So grab your besties and let’s go take some pictures! Can’t wait to hear from you.

Until next time…
