Contribute Images To The Boon Class of 2025 6th Grade Slide Show

Each year at 6th grade graduation, parents and honored guests are treated to a slide show highlighting the graduates and their time at Boon Elementary. In support of this, we ask each parent to send 5 high quality digital images of their child at Boon or involved in Boon activities. Don’t miss the deadline!

About The Slideshow

Each year at graduation, a slide show featuring graduating 6th graders is shown. It’s one of the highlights of the graduation festivities, so you’ll want to make sure that your sixth-grader is well represented.

About Your Photos

We need 5 “high quality” photos of each child. “High Quality” doesn’t mean it needs to be a professional photograph. In fact, candid photos are often the most fun. But, image quality is important. If the shot is too dark, out of focus or low resolution, we probably will not be able to use it.

Please read carefully!

Photos Due BEFORE March 31, 2019 (NO EXCEPTIONS PLEASE)

Please submit your photos as soon as possible. No photos will be accepted after April 3, 2019 to allow time for production of the show. Please do not wait until the last minute to submit your photos in case you encounter technical difficulties.

5 Photos Per Child Please

Pictures featuring your child with their other 6th grade friends are preferred.

HIGH QUALITY IMAGES ONLY PLEASE

The slideshow will be presented on a large screen, so high quality images are really important. Please upload high resolution images where possible. Hint: If the image looks crummy on your cell phone, it will look really bad on a big screen.

Don’t worry if you don’t know what this means exactly. Just know that we need pictures, not Word documents, PDF files or other document formats.

Uploading photos here is strongly encouraged. However, if you must email photos you may send them to [email protected]. Note that some email programs automatically reduce the quality of emailed images to save space, so uploading using the button below is strongly preferred.

Photos Will Not Be Accepted After The Deadline Of Tuesday March 31st.

Editing a slide show with this many faces takes a long time. So, we must ask that you get your photos in before the end of the day on March 31st, 2019. Given that the initial call for photos was sent in December 2018, we are confident that 4 months is enough time for you to find 5 excellent photos of your child!
