Meet Paula Mason | Allen, Texas Photographer

Hi there, and welcome! If you’re new here, I’m Paula Mason, the photographer behind Paula Mason Photography, based in Allen, Texas.

Photography is more than just what I do — it’s what I love. I’m passionate about capturing real moments, genuine smiles, and the little details that make each season of life special. I specialize in outdoor photography sessions, using natural light to create images that feel relaxed, authentic, and timeless. I also do studio sessions, but I spend most of my time outdoors, since I prefer to shoot without a flash.

I photograph high school seniors, families, sports, engagements, newborns, and more throughout North Texas. From senior portraits and family sessions to live sports action and milestone moments, every session is designed to feel fun, easy, and true to you. I plan each session based on your needs and requests.

While I’m based in Allen, I regularly serve clients in McKinney, Plano, Frisco, Fairview, Lucas, and the greater Dallas area (and most recently, Galveston!). I love shooting in local parks, downtown areas, fun neighborhoods, lakes, and cool outdoor spaces that highlight the beauty of North Texas.

When I’m not out at a session taking pictures for someone else, you just might find me on a trail with my camera capturing pictures of birds or any other wildlife I might find around here close to Allen! And sometimes, you’ll see me over at the high school cheering on the Allen Eagles – usually on the basketball court or the baseball field!
