The holiday season at Paula Mason Photography was nothing short of magical—and busy in the very best way! From twinkling lights to cozy sweaters and lots of laughter, this season was filled with smiling faces, festive outfits, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Holiday Mini Sessions = Full Hearts ❤️

Our Holiday Mini Sessions were a huge hit this year! Families showed up ready to snuggle close, laugh big, and capture those once-a-year moments that end up framed on walls and sent out in holiday cards. The energy was amazing, and I loved seeing returning families along with so many new faces. Every session reminded me why I love what I do—freezing moments that matter most. We did sessions at Parker Rose Garden, Adriatica and Rocketship Park this year. Julie and I will begin searching for next year’s locations as soon as the new year begins! Have any ideas? If so, let us know. We’re always looking for new places and ideas for our Holiday Minis. Who knows…maybe next year we will rent a studio space!

Senior Sessions Didn’t Slow Down 🎓

The holidays weren’t just for families—senior sessions were happening too! From laid-back looks to polished portraits, it was so fun capturing seniors during this festive time of year. Winter light, neutral tones, and timeless locations make holiday-season senior photos extra special and unique. And if you’re worried about nothing blooming this time of year, why not schedule a session at one of our favorite locations in the city – such as Downtown McKinney, Downtown Dallas, or Legacy West Shopping Center? These are perfect spots for winter time senior (or family) sessions.

Missed Family Photos Before the Holidays? No Worries! ❄️

If the season flew by (because it always does!) and you didn’t get a chance to schedule your family photos, January is the perfect time to do it. You can still book a Mini, Standard, or Deluxe Session for updated family pictures. Winter sessions offer beautiful soft light, less crowded locations, and a relaxed vibe—plus, you’ll be ahead of the game for albums, frames, and gifts for the coming year. Start the Year Strong with a Fresh Headshot 💼

The first of the year is also an ideal time to schedule an updated headshot. Whether you’re refreshing your website, LinkedIn profile, or personal brand, a new headshot helps you start the year looking confident, current, and professional. New year, new goals, new photos! I prefer to shoot headshots outside, but if you’re looking for something more like a brand photo session, just let me know. Thank you to everyone who trusted me with their memories this past year and holiday season. I’m so grateful for each and every family, senior, and professional who stepped in front of my camera. January is filling up quickly, so if you’re thinking about family photos or headshots, now is the time to book! Also, if you have a senior graduating in May, better grab a spot now. Also, be on the lookout for some cap and gown minis. We will probably start scheduling those in March or April!
