Senior sessions are the most popular session I offer. There are so many graduates in this area, and many of them schedule some sort of senior photo session at some point during their senior year. They are so fun! I’ve enjoyed getting to know so many of the seniors in and around the Allen area. It’s interesting to hear all about their upcoming plans – whether it be college, a new job, a new city, traveling for a year, etc… So many fun things ahead of them, and every one of them has an interesting story to share.

But here’s the question… Do you have to wait until your child is a senior to schedule a fun photo session for them? Absolutely not! I’ve done several sessions for kids and teens of all ages and for all kinds of reasons. A special birthday, a group of best friends, siblings, cousins and so many more. You actually don’t even need a reason to schedule a photo session! And these “just for fun” types of sessions are great!

What about the last day of school? A reason to celebrate? For sure! Or what about a mother/daughter session? A great reason to go buy some new heels and get fancy! These celebration sessions are stress-free and lots of fun, so gather a group of your friends, and let’s get together to take some pictures. You pick the location, and I’ll meet you there with my camera in hand.

I recently took pictures of a group of three besties down at White Rock Lake. They are not seniors, they are just really great friends who were up for a lakeside photo session with me. It was so much fun! Even in this crazy, Texas heat that almost melted us, we had a great time. This session reminded me of all the fun pictures I’ve done with teens (and some younger kids) over the years. It also reminded me that you really don’t need a special occasion to schedule a photo session.

So let’s take some pictures. If you and your besties, cousins, or siblings are ready to schedule something, you can find me over at Paula Mason Photography. Let me know how I can help you out!

Until next time…
